Coil From a Plant With Its Own TF550H
We run a FRAMECAD TF550H in our own plant, so we know what these machines need from a coil: the right slit width, consistent thickness, clean edges and a coil weight the decoiler can handle.
The slit widths below are the ones our FRAMECAD customers run every day: 7.52″ for the 362S162 (3-5/8″) stud and 9.80″ for the 600S162 (6″) stud. Slit width is set by the profile, not the gauge, so it stays the same for every mil.

7.52″ for the 362S162 profile (3-5/8″ web, 1-5/8″ flange, 1/2″ lip). The width is the same for 33, 43, 54 and 68 mil.
What slit width does a FRAMECAD machine use for a 6″ stud?
9.80″ for the 600S162 profile, the same for every mil.
Can the FRAMECAD F325iT run 16 gauge (54 mil)?
No. The F325iT is rated to 18 gauge, a maximum total coated thickness of 0.0472″. 54 mil runs on the F450iT and TF550H; 68 mil runs on the TF550H.
What gauges does the FRAMECAD TF550H run?
We supply the TF550H from 43 mil (0.043″ minimum) through 68 mil (0.067″ minimum).
